Project Description
This project includes the design and construction of new turn lanes and traffic signal improvements at the intersection of Veterans Boulevard and Atwater Street. The work will add a new right-turn lane from southbound Atwater to westbound Veterans Blvd, a right turn lane from eastbound Veterans Blvd to southbound Atwater, a right turn lane from westbound Veterans Blvd to northbound Atwater, along with sidewalk modifications and an upgraded traffic signalization system.Project Location

The Veterans Boulevard at Atwater Street intersection 60% plans have been reviewed by County staff, and comments have been returned to FTE for revisions.
The 90% plans are scheduled for submittal in June 2026.
